There are many working properties in the Upper Murray that have a rich and varied history, many of which have great stories to tell.

This event reflects the good natured rivalry for competitors and great entertainment for the crowd, and in the process showcase the versatility, speed and agility required by stockmen on Station properties of today.

Rafferty’s Rules will quickly sort out the best stockmen team in the Mountains. “Out of your swag, light the fire, boil the billy, milking, fencing, feeding, just some of the tasks… then on your bike over the obstacles and back to the bar for that great first (warm) beer of the day….”
