The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival in Corryong, Victoria, is a spectacular celebration of the region’s rich heritage, deeply rooted in the Australian high country. There’s also feature events such as the Working Cattle Dog, proudly sponsored by Welaregang Station, Feature Cutout, Feature Campdraft, proudly sponsored by Intersales and a thrilling two nights of Rodeo action being the host of Wrangler Xtreme Broncs.
For lovers of history and culture, the festival offers a wide array of storytelling sessions, performances, and displays that highlight the region’s pioneering heritage. Local bush poets and musicians bring the festival to life with ballads that tell the tales of the Snowy Mountains’ early settlers, the challenges they faced, and their connection to the land. One of the festival’s unique features is the Street Parade, proudly sponsored by GME, where the town of Corryong comes alive with beautifully decorated floats, horses, and traditional stockman attire, making for a visually stunning display that honors the region’s deep connection to the land. The Street Parade is a true highlight, bringing together the community and visitors in a joyous celebration of Australian history and culture.
