Assistance Dogs are welcome at The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival. Owners MUST ensure the Assistance Dog wears their jacket identifying them as Assistance Dogs at all times whilst in the Festival grounds. All Service Dogs have full public access rights so they can accompany their owner anywhere in the community.
The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival is proudly affiliated with the Companion Card program. A complimentary Companion Pass is available for holders of a valid current Companion Card who require assistance of a companion or carer to attend the Festival.
Please contact the Festival Office via email [email protected] to process your booking and secure a matching ticket for your Companion or Carer. The Companion Card must be sighted by staff at Gate #2 Ticket Box for exchange of Companion Pass wristband.
NOTE – All Festival attendees must wear a wristband for entry to the Festival.

Yes. Vehicles displaying a Disabled Parking Permit may enter the Festival Grounds (Gate #7). To access the disabled parking zone enter the Festival Grounds via Gate #7 ONLY (via the Stock Route). Follow signage to designated parking zone (located between the netball courts and football oval).
We have disabled shower and toilet facilities available at the new Events Centre, on the Golf Course (camping Section A) as well as disabled toilets at the toilet block located behind the Stockmans Bar.
We do not have reserved campsites but recommend booking a campsite in Banjo’s Premium Section A which is located most conveniently to the Festival grounds. Those with disabled parking stickers must advise the camping marshall’s on arrival to the campground that you need disabled access to the grounds and they will do their best to ensure you are positioned as close as possible for ease of access within the Camping Zone you are booked.
Dogs are NOT permitted within the Festival Grounds – unless they are clearly identified Assistance Dogs or registered competitors in the Working Cattle Dog Championships. Dogs are permitted within campsites and must be on a leash and kept quiet at all times. Please clean up after your pet.
The Corryong Recreation Reserve has a glass-free policy. Glass is PROHIBITED within the Festival Grounds.
We provide Disabled Parking within the Festival Grounds (enter via Gate #7) for those displaying a valid Disabled Parking sticker in the windscreen of their vehicle) and a Disabled Viewing Platform at the main Arena. The Festival by nature has many outdoor venues that take place on rough, uneven ground which require a good degree of mobility.
Yes – There are ATM facilities at various locations in the main street of Corryong or at the Corryong Sporting Complex located at the entrance to Banjo’s Premium Camping (Golf Course). There will be NO EFT-POS (cash out facilities) available at the Festival grounds to comply with our Covid Safe Event Plan. The Man from Snowy River Bush Festival is a CASHLESS event.
There are no shuttle busses at the Festival HOWEVER there WILL be shuttle busses to and from the reenactment.
Typically, the weather during the day is warm. Be mindful that first thing in the morning and once the sun sets the temperature can drop significantly. We encourage you to dress for changeable weather, bring a jacket and appropriate bedding. If you get cold you can always purchase additional clothing from our merchandise store or support the Upper Murray community by purchasing local during your stay.
