The Festival is located in Corryong ~ “down by Kosciuszko side”. Corryong is a beautiful small rural town of 1,300 people and the largest township in Towong Shire. It is 126 kilometres east of Albury/Wodonga on the Murray Valley Highway, on what discerning travellers might describe as Australia’s iconic touring route between Melbourne and Sydney. The route showcases The Man From Snowy River, the pristine headwaters of the mighty Murray River, Mt Kosciuszko (Australia’s highest mountain) and the nation’s capital; Canberra. The Festival utilised various venues throughout the township of Corryong for the conduct of its multitude of events. The primary Festival venue is the Corryong Recreation Reserve.
