TRAINERS CHALLENGE
The Trainer’s Challenge demonstrates all that goes into the creation of a partnership with an unhandled horse. Trainers and horses share their journey with patrons as they gain each other’s trust and confidence.
The Man From Snowy River Trainer’s Challenge aims to educate and entertain whilst showcasing the very best in gentle horsemanship techniques.
Heats take place over Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the final demonstration when winners will be announced.
Demonstrations focus on all that’s involved in the starting of a young horse through to saddling and preparation for further education. Contestants share their journey with the audience providing commentary and insight into each challenge faced and overcome along the way.
